Rolling Back the Odometer: YieldStreet Rebrands to Willow Wealth and Removes All Traces of Its Checkered Past From Its Website

This was once one of the most popular alternative investment platforms in the market, with deals that sold out in minutes. Then hundreds of millions of dollars in investor losses followed, along with a class-action lawsuit and an SEC enforcement action over disclosure failures. Now the firm has rebranded as Willow Wealth and says “transparency is paramount.” But what does transparency mean when a platform removes its past performance from public view and makes it harder for new investors to connect the dots?

Sometimes a rebrand reflects real change. Other times, it looks like an effort to distance a company from an unpleasant history. The difference matters when a name change affects how easily people can understand what came before.
